# JKF

> The Jessie Klicka Foundation was created through the will of prominent San Diego resident and businessman Emil Klicka to honor his late wife, Jessie. San Diego City and County high school seniors with financial need are eligible to apply for a $1,000–$3,000 annual scholarship to attend a four-year university or a community college with the intent to transfer to a four-year university. More information and requirements can be found in the online application, available in February and March.
